Winch Works

To carry out replacement of Major Components in Wind Turbine (like Generator, Gearbox, Rotor, etc.), Crane is being used to finish the work in shorter time and thereby reducing the Downtime.
But due to the high cost of Crane Operations, difficulty in availability and mobilisation of Crane and difficulties faces in Hilly terrain and Shorter curves en route.

In order to overcome the difficulties faced in the Crane Usage, We have developed Winch facility for Erection and De-Erection of the following components of the Wind Turbine.

1. Generator
2. Gear Box
3. Rotor
4. Single Blade
5. Main Shaft
6. Yaw Slew Ring

At present, the Capacity of our Winch Facility is up to 2 MW Wind Turbines
